This Workforce Planning Tool is operated by the Aged Care Workforce Industry Council Limited, ABN 69 633 541 581 (Council, we, us or our).

The Workforce Planning Tool is designed to assist the aged care sector, and specifically workforce activity planners for both residential and home care providers, to understand how to adopt proactive workforce planning practices. For more information on the scope of the Workforce Planning Tool, including an overview of how the tool was developed in consultation with relevant representatives from the aged care sector, please see here.

This statement applies to the Workforce Planning Tool in addition to our general Terms of Use, available here, and should be read in conjunction with those Terms of Use. In the event of any inconsistency between this statement and our Terms of Use, this statement will prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.

If you wish to use the Workforce Planning Tool, you must accept and comply with this statement and the Terms of Use. Please read this statement and the Terms of Use carefully before using the Workforce Planning Tool and, if you do not agree to this statement or the Terms of Use, you must not access or use the Workforce Planning Tool.

You are required to provide your email address in order to use the Workforce Planning Tool. You must not allow anyone else to access or use the Workforce Planning Tool using your email address.

Purpose of Workforce Planning Tool

The Workforce Planning Tool is provided for educational and information purposes only and is intended to assist you with:

  • establishing a baseline understanding of your organisation’s workforce; and
  • developing a sustainable workforce plan.

You acknowledge and agree that the information available through the Workforce Planning Tool is general in nature and is intended for the purposes above. It is not intended to be used as a means of ensuring your compliance with relevant legal obligations regarding aged care workforce planning and must not be used for such purposes or used as evidence to demonstrate your compliance with such legal obligations to any relevant regulatory bodies, including the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commissioner. You should obtain legal or other independent professional advice appropriate to your circumstances.

The Council makes no representations, either expressed or implied, as to the suitability of this Workforce Planning Tool for any particular purpose.

Use at your own risk

You must not rely on the results of the Workforce Planning Tool and we assume no liability for your reliance on such results. You agree that you are solely responsible for your use of any results obtained from the Workforce Planning Tool, and for any conclusions drawn from such results.
